Feedback about our Level 4 Certificate in Exercise Management of Low Back Pain...

"Hello oh great ones! Firstly thank you so much for all your help and guidance in getting me through the Level 4 Low Back Pain Management Course. I enjoyed the course so much with you both. Taking on a Live Case Study for 6 weeks was pretty daunting at first but I found it to be an essential learning tool and wouldn't have missed it for the world. You learn so much during it. The end result of working with your Case Study for 6 weeks is truly amazing and suffice to say my Case Study is still having lessons every week with me and really taking off now. I now have her husband on board too! So thank you again!"

Feedback about our YMCA Diploma in Teaching Pilates course...

"I know I have said it before but every day I am so glad I did my training with you and Claire. I have a new career starting and what's more I am secure with my knowledge, therefore I am more confident in my teaching and that's all because I was taught by such excellent teachers! There's one for your website!"

"I am a Pilates instructor and have been teaching since 2004. I always said that Pilates wasn't really my passion, but the truth was that I had so many injured people to my classes and I didn't feel I had the underlying knowledge to keep them safe, so I didn't teach it for a couple of years. I then trained to become a sports massage therapist and felt this made me more equipped to deal with injured participants so started to teach Pilates again. I then found out that REPS didn't recognise me as a Pilates instructor as I had not completed my level 3 qualification. I was more than a little annoyed with this since I was now a level 5 qualified sports therapist and felt that this was more than enough to be on the register. I was also turned down for a class because I was not level 3 qualified. It was then I realised that whether I liked it or not I was going to have to go on a course, so begrudgingly started looking around.

I knew three instructors who had trained with Pilates Training Solutions, one brand new to Pilates but also another very respected instructor, so I thought i would give them a go.

One the first day I turned up, and I was sold!!! Claire took the first day and she took my knowledge and tweaked it to a greater understanding and I had more than a few lightbulb moments, suddenly everything seemed to make so much sense and I was excited about Pilates again and that evening I went back and told my two Pilates classes how much I had learnt and how brilliant it was! On the second day I had Belinda, fairly certain that she couldn't live up to Claire's standards, but she kept my attention for the entire day, I don't think i even blinked!!

After the course days, I had queries and questions and when I emailed either Belinda or Claire, they responded very promptly and when I phoned them, they were very happy to talk and I never felt like I was bothering them. So if you are wondering if it is worth doing the level 3 course, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it and Pilates Training Solutions exceeded all my expectations and I intend to go on to do the Level 4 Lower Back Pain with them."

"Dear Claire and Belinda,
Many thanks for such an interesting, energising and informative course. The theory section has been incredibly clear and concise, and the practical teaching superb, I now feel I understand the rational behind each move clearly.

I have wanted to train to teach Pilates for some time now, and after all I have learnt with Pilates Training Solutions over the past few weeks, I feel thoroughly motivated and prepared to get out there and start working.

I look forward to seeing you in the New Year for my client assessment. With very best wishes.

"Having come to Belinda and Claire from another Pilates school to do my Level 3, I have appreciated the great training and ongoing personal support I have received. Even when you have been teaching for some years situations arise that you just need some advice on and you never feel you are on your own. Wise advice is given often very promptly if you time it right!"

"Hi Belinda and Claire,
Hope you are both well. Just wanted to let you know that I am back in Australia. I've been back one month and got two jobs teaching studio equipment within the first two weeks of coming home. It's going really well and I just wanted to thank you both. I feel really well trained and confident teaching and I know that is down to the training you both provided. Of course you never stop learning, but I feel really happy where I'm at and clients seem really happy. Thank you both so much.

"This course is amazing and I cannot thank Belinda and Claire enough. After being at home for 10 years with the kids I wanted to start something new. Their wonderful, highly informative teaching dragged my brain back from the brink and I have not looked back since. This course is challenging but really rewarding to be starting a new career and I am loving every moment! Thank you for sharing your expertise and knowledge and cannot wait for Level 4! Oh and the Exercise and Pregnancy course yesterday with Helen Carpenter-Waters was excellent, thank you..."

"PTS has turned out to be exactly what it says: A solution for me to become a Level 3 Matwork Pilates instructor.

Armed with a few years of practicing Pilates with my wife, but no Anatomy & Physiology knowledge at all, I have achieved my target in 14 months – This included 10 months self study using the “Health & Fitness Handbook” as recommended by PTS prior to the first course.

Claire & Belinda (Both very pleasant indeed), have amassed a wealth of teaching techniques, and are both very highly qualified to teach this course. It is run at a very manageable pace with clear and concise instruction, supported by some good study notes and the necessary documentation to achieve the recognised CYQ qualification and certification. It is not easy – It can be failed, but with hard work it is very possible – I am proof at 48yrs.

They are always contactable by phone or email, when support is required, and I have no hesitation in recommending them for their teachings of Clinical Pilates."

"I am that person that started from scratch, so where shall I begin?, well I have just covered 5 classes in the past 7 days and I qualified as a level 3 teacher (with absolutely no previous industry experience, I didn't even like Biology at school) as my level 3 certification shows on 6.2.2010, it is possible to achieve this and its all down to self belief and hard work, you will be more than equipped in all the knowledge that you need to complete the qualification from P.T.S however it is ultimately down to commitment, focus, understanding, dedication, discipline and as I found good time management planning and being honest and asking any questions (no matter how insignificant you feel that are) to either Belinda or Claire.

I have attended Yoga, and Pilate's classes for a few years and decided in March 09 (at the age of 41) that I wanted to become a Pilate's Teacher, I looked at a few companies and rang for info, however once I rang P.T.S and spoke to Belinda (who readily answered any questions and concerns I had) I knew these were the people for me, lets say its female intuition.

I began my stage 1 at the end of May 09 and completed my stage 2 the first week of August, I had my final practical assessment on the 11th Dec and I did have to retake my theory exam again (I found these the most challenging) however by revising more I feel personally that I have benefited with a wealth of knowledge in Anatomy and Physiology.

I have 2 part time jobs,a home to run and an 11 going on 21 year old son to organise, I also like my "me" time and value family days, holidays and activities, I found with this course spread out over the time scale I decided to take I did not have to eat, sleep or breathe Pilate's to complete the course, although if you are able to discipline yourself and pick those books up before you begin the course you would be very wise to do so, especially if you have no previous A and P experience, like me.

If you are able to teach (within a qualified teachers presence and with permission) as I did a couple of times it would definitely help, the first time I did I sounded like little voice and could feel my stomach rising up into my mouth, it does get easier though. do not worry about whom else is on the course with you, never feel intimidated by others qualifications or experience (we all have to start somewhere) you should be encouraged to learn from their backgrounds (and cherry pick from them) remember the reasons why you are on the course and what you will ultimately achieve.

I am so proud of myself for what I have achieved and I love teaching Pilate's (although I have more to learn still) after my first recent teaching class as a qualified teacher I had fantastic comments from my class, specifically a former dancer and fitness instructor who said " I'm so glad we have been taught proper classical pilates today none of this fitness pilates stuff" and no one knew this was my first time teaching alone...remember "perception is projection".

Thank you Belinda and Claire, I definitely chose the best people for the job and looking forward to seeing you all in 3 weeks at the small equipment course."

"Wow! What a fabulous course! Claire and Belinda, you make a formidable and fantastic duo in teaching the Pilates Level 3 – thank you! The course covers a huge range of information from getting the best out of your clients using psychosocial methods, to the detailed workings of the spine and the various pathologies that can be presented. With the most up to date research findings, this course really is at the forefront of Pilates knowledge; meaning that as an instructor you can offer your clients the most effective and safe training methods. At no point will you be bored though - this course is inspirationally and passionately delivered by Belinda and Claire, with the perfect balance of theory and practice. And, unlike many fitness courses, you are treated as a friend and equal where everybody’s experiences count. The Pilates Training Solutions course will no doubt leave you on a high, with the desire to teach everyone and anyone you meet about Pilates and the amazing effects it can have upon their bodies! "

"Hello Ladies! I know we will see you again at the end of this week, but I felt compelled to thank you for the wonderful, inspirational, educational training that we have thus far received. A million thanks, I am learning so much and enjoying every minute of it! My goodness you ladies are FAB! "

"Thank you for presenting such a great course. I have learnt a great deal, and i will continue to do so. I love pilates and the way we teach it. I have covered a few classes, and thankfully they have gone down very well, so i will be starting my own at the ymca in late September.

As i mentioned to Belinda prior to the course i managed to get the job of the west ham utd ladies first team fitness coach. I use the pilates moves as part of active recovery between sprint work. In 3 months we have seen some fantastic improvements with the girls, in terms of posture ,balance, strength -you name it, and its mainly down to good old pilates - it works - we have played 6 and won 6 since i started, so there you go. Finally I look forward to seeing you in mid October with my client ( my sister). Many, many thanks."

"I just wanted to say a big thank you to both Claire and Belinda for developing and running such a brilliant Pilates course. When I decided to up-date my Pilates skills, I looked at quite a few Pilates courses, before deciding to do my course with Pilates Training Solutions. From the start, I found both Claire and Belinda friendly, knowledgeable and genuine, and the fact that they are both from an academic background in Sports Science and Osteopathy reassured me that this was definitely a genuine course - with no gimmicks!

I joined Claire and Belinda at Club LaSanta, in Lanzarote to do my Level 3 in February 2007 and what a brilliant week that was. There I was, in very pleasant, sunny surroundings, on a Pilates course in Lanzarote, with a 12 other like-minded people, and I found the course content informative, educational and really enjoyable. The course has increased my knowledge and awareness of the body and the muscles that are used in Pilates - and I feel that my confidence in my teaching skills has also improved as a result of the training I've received (all of which I will pass on to my class participants). I can honestly say that PTS is definitely one of the best courses I have done in a long time, and I would recommend this course to anyone who is serious about training to become a Pilates Instructor - this course is a MUST! I'm already looking forward to doing more training courses with you in the future."

"As ever Pilates Training Solutions have met and exceeded expectations. Belinda and Claire understand the needs of each student - we all learn in a very individual way and this is reflected in the delivery of their work. The level 3 course is well written and comprehensive, exceeding the requirements laid down by CYQ/Skills active. The depth of knowledge reinforces the principles of Pilates and truly makes sense of the why and how of what we do."
